hi erica : you probably don't remember me... i used to watch you practice at the murrieta golf range when you were a youngster; and,a few years ago, i played a couple of rounds w/ you and your dad at eagle glen in south corona ca. i know just how intense a player you are. some questions to you... : is your father still your golf coach? what part of your game seems ot be holding you back w/ respect to you reaching your golf potential? to what extent are you able to let go of a less than desired shot?

"My old fans are some of my best. My father is still active in my career, but rarely is with me during the season. The putting continues to be fickle, but I'm starting to enjoy being on the green's, which is very positive sign. What I've learned over my career,is that all errant shot's are not equal, but they can only add 1 to your scorecard, unless you allow it to affect you differently."

Hey Erica, This is not a question, but just wanted to say hang in there. Tough season or not, you belong out there. Talent has a funny way of prevailing. You'll be out there for as long as you want.

"Can't say I'm happy with my season so far. However, I don't doubt why I'm here. I rarely play poorly,usually play better than my score and sometimes that can be very frustrating, but it's just a matter of time."

Better feeling - Long drive or making that long putt? Also, I am looking at getting some new clubs as mine mysteriously disappeared. I have friends with Cleveland Clubs and they love them. Do you have a contact that may talk to regarding what are the right clubs for me? Thank you, Shawn

Last year at the corning classic you shot very well early. You fell off the leaderboard in later rounds, Is the course that more diffcult in later rounds? How do prepare to play day one this year??

"No, the course essentially stay's the same unless the weather changes. My difficulty last year and when I don't play well, is just trying too hard."

There must be days when you are shocked by how every put seems to drop. Tiger Woods and his father thought that it is possible to "Will" the ball into the cup. Do you ever feel like there is something to this visualization and pure desire that can actually help control the ball and get it where you want.
